double pleat trousers, charcoal linen/wool

double pleat trousers made from a charcoal 90% linen / 10% wool plainweave fabric from japan, finished with a brushed, fuzzy surface. real sweet spot kind of fabric for me, in that it looks elegant from a distance - how it moves, the bounce & fluidity of the drape, etc. -  but also has a kind of fucked-upness about it up close, an uneven texture and a slightly hairy surface. it resolves the dialectic, if you will. it feels great against the skin though, i feel like people get scared when they hear 'wool' and 'hairy' but this doesn't feel itchy or rough to me.
