light chore, cotton/linen/ramie herringbone

light chore coat made from 50% cotton, 25% linen, 25% ramie herringbone weave from japan, washed and kneaded after weaving to give it a soft, weathered feel. natural, undyed shade, a kind of warm, speckled off-white.

pretty lightweight fabric for a nominal 'coat' combined with a really nice drape from the linen/ramie makes this feel closer to a shirt-jacket than a true coat to me. versatile layering piece.

full, boxy cut. gently rounded collar (mao collar, for the heads). big antique brass buttons.

take the size your normally wear in men's shirts/coats - if between sizes or unsure, size up.
