loose fitting trouser in deadstock 21oz 100% linen.

the simple pant is a simple pair of pants, my version of a 5 pocket pant, but the fifth pocket is a utility pocket on the side of the thigh, instead of that outmoded coin pocket (tiny pocket inside the right front pocket) on traditional jeans. wide but not too wide silhouette.

this is the heaviest fabric i've ever sourced, a deadstock 21oz upholstery linen. for context, most good quality all cotton denim is usually around 12-14oz. the combination of the huge weight with the suppleness and drape of linen gives it a 'bounce' that feels unlike anything else. it's also great if you like to wear linen in the winter like me.

i like to wear them a little slouchy, a couple inches below the belly button, but they can also be worn high if you're into that.
