light chore coat made from a chocolate brown 75% cotton / 25% linen tumbled canvas from enshu, japan. the fabric is washed, kneaded, and sun-dried after weaving/dyeing, which gives it a rippled, uneven texture. one of those process-heavy fabrics that freaks like me get a little fetishistic over.
middleweight, kind of like a heavy shirt weight, i can imagine it working in any season depending on what it's layered with.
has two slit welt pockets bartacked for sturdiness.
full, boxy cut. gently rounded collar (mao collar, for the heads). real pearl buttons.
take the size your normally wear in men's shirts/coats - if between sizes or unsure, size up.
