plain shirt in 10oz 100% boiled linen.

i'm not sure 'boiled linen' is a thing, but this particular linen, I realized through some natural dye experiments, develops a pretty incredible texture when exposed to high temperatures. the warp and weft yarns are different sizes, so when its boiled and then dried, it cinches up unevenly, giving it a 'bumpiness' similar to a crepe fabric. it also softens up and gets all the shrink out.

this shirt was explicitly created to foreground the texture of the fabric - no visible details, minimal topstitching. nothing to distract from the cloth. invisible placket, simple antique brass buttons. boxy fit.

take the size you normally wear in men's shirts/coats - if between sizes, size up.
