work jacket II, wool cavalry twill

black 15oz. 100% wool cavalry twill from italy. cavalry twill is a heavy duty double twill weave originally used for riding trousers in 19th century military uniforms. it's crazy dense and durable - the face side (the side that touches the world, not your body) almost feels like a scuba suit to me, quite impervious to elements.

similar fit to a trucker jacket, slightly boxy and cropped. two hand warmer welt pockets sewn in front. antique brass buttons.

take the size your normally wear in men's shirts/coats - if between sizes or unsure, size up.
