woven cardigan, wool/cashmere blend

cardigan made from a deadstock chocolate brown 80% wool / 20% cashmere brushed face woven fabric.

this is my first time ever making anything from cashmere - i can see why people lose their shit over this fabric, it's incredibly soft and plush. i love the look of cardigans but i really don't like sewing with knit fabrics, so i'm always on the lookout for woven fabrics that seem suited to forms and silhouettes usually associated with knits. so this is an example of that. there are only 3 of these available, that's all the fabric i have.

take the size your normally wear in men's shirts/coats - if between sizes or unsure, size up.

size M: 23.5" chest

size L: 25.5" chest
